KCW Spring 2013 – Navy Bubble Pocket Shorts – FO 7/2013

April 25, 2013

Wow – I’m on a roll.  Today I finished another pair of Bubble Pocket shorts.

IMG_7837_edited-1These are in a very stable double knit jersey which gives them quite a different look and feel.  They are a little bulkier than the cotton versions, obviously, but I think they’ll work.  We’ll see when I can pin down a wee small girl long enough for her to try them on!

I now only have a pair of red shorts to sew and my plan for Kids Clothes Week is complete…watch this space!

They look great. I love double knits. I can’t wait to see your daughter wearing them

I keep telling her that I’m going to have these shorts…they look soooooo comfortable.
I’m really looking forward to the weekend when I can try all these new things on her and take photos. I’ve allowed a bit of “growing room” too…so hopefully she won’t shoot out of these too soon.

I know! I just need to keep it going for me…this week has made me realise that its fitting that is killing my sewjo. I really need to get a grip on that.

I bet the double knit will make for very comfortable wearing. Very cute.

They feel like pyjamas as the waistband is lined with t-shirting. Perfect for playing in the park.
