Eight

January 14, 2016

“And though she be but little, she is fierce.”

William Shakespeare ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream‘

8_2

Never a truer word spoken.

Our little girl turned 8 this week.  Each day I see more of the woman she will become and it takes my breath away.  I am overwhelmed with joy that this astonishing girl is my daughter.

8_1

I am blessed.

Happy birthday, my darling girl.

      Growing up too fast! 😉
She’s a handful but so wonderful she carries it off.

Definitely full of mischief! But so full of life that I wouldn’t swap her for the world. She’s awesome! x

Daughters challenge you, make life very hard at times, but they are a gift. Enjoy yours through all of her changes.
    Happy birthday Button ?

The teenage years will be ‘interesting’ but she IS a gift and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.

She has such a bright presence! Happy birthday to your not so little girl. It starts to get kind of surreal at this point 🙂

She is only tiny but has the personality of a giant. She’s hilarious and smart as a whip (other folk tell me this too). I just wish she didn’t want to be all grown up quite so fast and quite so much.

Happy Birthday to your gorgeous daughter, LOVE the quote at the top. My youngest is 8..where do the years go to?? They seem to be flying by.

I hope 2016 is off to a great start for you and yours.

      Thank you!
The quote absolutely sums her up so very well.
I’m fairly sure someone has coshed me over the head and stolen some years. Last week it was 10 years since I met the husband. It’s just flown by.

2016 is showing definite promise! 😉 I do wish the same for you and your family too.
