A good time was had by all

December 27, 2011

The children slept till 8.20am!  Little angels.

Santa was very generous to all of us.

The bairns said thank you to Santa as each present was handed to them.

The afternoon was spent with grandparents and niece/nephew/great-niece/great-nephew, and an inordinate amount of food and wine.

I was too busy cooking and celebrating and eating and drinking to take pictures, but I did catch a rare moment of children behaving nicely

It didn’t last long!! But they had a blast.

We couldn’t have asked for more.

I’m hoping by New Year we’ll have cleared up the house! 😉

It WAS a doll´s house – lucky little one that you have! So pleased it all went well but it does seem to take forever to put everything away again doesn´t it?!

She was so delighted. It was her last present and she was trying hard not to show how disappointed she was. She was squeaking with excitement.

I feel like the house will never be tidy again. But I know it will.

Hope you had a fabulous time too.

The doll’s house is a huge hit and just what she wanted. She believes in Santa even more now!

I’m squinting at the house until everyone is back at work and nursery next week, then I shall be like a dervish!

I hope you all had a lovely time too! xxx

I bet you have! Have you seen the lovely cross stitch kits you can get to make carpets for doll’s houses? A job for Ma Stitches maybe? lol
