It’s nice to share some sewn stitches for a change.
How could I resist this adorable London themed fabric? It’s so very charming.
How cute is this? I just love it.
Fabric constraints meant that I couldn’t pattern match the bodice. So I fussy cut cute scenes instead. I’m happy with how it works.
I cut the skirt as one piece to maintain the integrity of the design, and managed to get an almost perfect match on the seam there.
Thankfully, Miss Button loves it too.
I’ll call that a win!
Project details
Pattern: Geranium from Made by Rae
Pattern cost: £10 – this is my 5th version, so it’s excellent value for money
Fabric: Cotton novelty print from The Buttonhole
Fabric cost: £5/mtr (I think). I used 1 mtr.
Button looks gorgeous in that dress. And is that a new pup I spotted?
Thank you! And yes it is! 😀
Wow, that dress is GORGEOUS on Button. The fabric is superb and that is quite a bargain if you have made the pattern a few times. I am in love with the little at on the bike on the back of the bodice. So cute. Adorable puppy. The children must be thrilled to bits if it is theirs. Xx
I did have folk asking where I’d got it. The best compliment I think. The design is just lovely and it’s a breezy dress for this hot weather. This is such a great pattern. A quick easy sew and perfect for border prints like this. The pup is a joy!
Great use of fabric and the fussy cutting worked really well. But, let’s cut to the chase, is that or is that not a new baby of the canine kind photo bombing Button’s modelling shots?
That is a new fur baby. He’s George and now 12 weeks old. He’s a joy and already a pro photo bomber. Expect to see more of him soon!
Perfection! I have this pattern too … and love it for my girls.
Thank you. It really is a super pattern.
Gorgeous dress, beautiful Button and adorable pup!
They are a cute pair, for sure!
That is absolutely lovely! I know a small person who would like one too! ?
Thank you. It’s just a super fabric.
This fabric is perfect! And Button is practically a teenager with that sassy posing 🙂 I’m loving her long hair.
She’s a teenager in her head too! Why are they in such a rush to grow up. It’s vastly overrated!
Her hair is so pretty. I’ll be awfully glad when that fringe is grown out!
Gorgeous! What fabulous fabric. Little Button is looking rather grown up!
Thank you.
I do wish the growing up would slow down! But, I suppose, we’d miss such a lot of fun.
That is adorable! What an amazing print!
Thank you. I couldn’t resist the print and am really glad I snapped it up.
