Little pink shoes

May 26, 2012

Button is gearing up for her first dance show.

Next week her and her fellow dancers will put on a show for two nights at a local theatre.

Last night I put her name in her costumes and sewed elastic straps into tiny pink and black ballet shoes.

Our little girl is growing up fast.

I’m one very proud mummy.

She’s very excited about the whole thing. I think she’ll have fun.

I thought that as I was sewing. Of course I’m going to be ridiculous on the night…but I don’t care!

I have a box of tissues ready to go! I was bad enough at their first swimming lesson. Tragic!

She’s just started learning some of the basic ballet positions and does tap too. All the grandparents are coming along too…there won’t be a dry eye in the house!
