A whole lot of nothing except a cute cardi!

October 24, 2012

The thing about having nothing that you have to do, is that the temptation to do nothing is rife.

As there’s only a whole load of sofa surfing going on, I thought I’d share the most recent Made by Ma, which, of course, features cables.

What can I say…I’m a sucker for cables!

Cute.  No?

OMG – Button looks 8! She’s giving us that sassy look that big kids have. And that sweater is terrific.

Don’t! She’s growing up far too fast. It’s terrifying. I may have to move to Uzbekistan when she hits the teenage years!

I wish! Pity that grading knitting patterns isn’t as straightforward as grading sewing patterns!

I just about fell off my chair when I read the first line of this post – it felt as a sign from above telling me to stare temptation right in the face and “do more” during my sabbatical! Love the sweater you made your daughter – super cute (both sweater and child) 🙂

Thank you…she’s too adorable. I know I’m biased but I’m running with it!
I think when you’ve been super busy and then you stop, you need a period of adjustment. I’m fairly sure the energy will kick back in soon, but I’m cutting myself some slack for a little while whilst I recalibrate. You’re not alone…

It’s a great pattern. This is the second time she’s had it because there is a great range of sizes.

Wow that’s a gorgeous colour and suits her wonderfully too, blue eyed cherub that she is.

I’m very very glad you are kicking back and relaxing ….

Don’t be fooled…she can be mighty devilish too!
Kicking back maybe…not sure how relaxing I’m finding it. So not used to it!

What a bonny little lady Button is! The cardi suits her beautifully. Glad to hear that you’re having some time off from the hectic studying of recent weeks. Good luck with whatever you decide to do next.
